Butter Shortbread Biscuits

Butter Shortbread Biscuits

GP, as promised,recipe for Shortbread Biscuits below.

Ingredients
150 gm softened butter
115 gm caster sugar
150 gm plain flour
65 gm rice flour
1/2 tsp baking powder

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 160 deg C.
2. Cream the butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
3. Sift over the flours, baking powder and mix well.
4. Roll either into rectangular block or round tube and cut in 1/2 inch pieces.
5. Bake until golden, about 15 - 20 mins.
